        From generation to generation, the experience, passion, unconditional love for nature and the desire to vinify great wines are passed on. Through the experience of 6 generations, the family has learned every terroir, every plot and every vine to the smallest detail. A deep understanding of the natural processes in the vineyard, a clear idea for the wine and a minimalist approach, leaving out everything unnecessary, are essential for this. This means 100% hand harvesting, reduced yields, gentle processing, a long yeast storage and the least possible influence in the cultivation and aging.
        The wines should be as unadulterated and uncompromising as possible in telling the story of their origins in the limestone-dominated vineyards on the Tüllinger Berg. The diversity of the individual plots, the variation of the slopes, the different composition of the limestone soils and the climatic conditions of each vintage make the wines unique.
        The plots are cultivated with respect for the soils and according to own ideas. During the cultivation the winery attaches great importance to a careful soil cultivation and a natural growth between the rows. For this reason, they do not use any synthetic or chemical products in the vineyards. For plant strengthening they use teas and extracts, which they prepare from the plants collected in the vineyard.
        With a clear focus on the traditional and historically relevant grape varieties, the winery cultivates biodynamically only the locally relevant GUtedel and PInot varieties. HAUS GUPI wines are always vinified and bottled without the addition of sulfur.
