Grape varieties: Favorita, Cortese
Region: Colli Tortonesi, Piedmont
Winemaker: Alessandro Poretti
The varieties Cortese and Favorita have established themselves over time due to their versatility and high yield. Nowadays, they represent two of the brightest stars in the firmament of Piedmont's white grapes and show off their talents in Valli Unite's Terragno 2018. The name recalls the earth and the strong roots that this bottle has with its territory. Ten days of skin maceration and six months of ageing in old acacia casks contribute to the development of a rich, complex nose, with hints of yellow stone fruit and mandarin skin, and a warm mouthfeel with soft tannins.
