At Nord und Süd winery they seem to have a passion for word plays and a nice imagination when it comes to naming their wines, as in the case of this Riesling that has been called 'daredevil'. Macerated on the skins for 48 hours and left to ferment spontaneously, it is aged in steel tanks on the fine lees. In the glass shows a brilliant light-golden yellow. The bouquet is multi-faceted and starts with fruits such as nectarine, yellow peach and apricot roast, then turns to spices with a subtle hint of cloves, to end up on sweety notes of powdered sugar and cool aromatic-herbaceous nuances of forest moss. The palate reveals a rich silky texture, while the elegant acidity shapes the powerful body. Indeed, a fearless Riesling!
