The name Ripazzo is a mispronunciation of the Ripasso technique, the passage of a wine through the pressed skins of a younger wine. Pazzo means crazy, which speaking of Gian Marco is not far from the truth. So, what happened is that Litrozzo 2018 still had residual sugars after one year and so it was "ripassato" through the pressed skins of the Litrozzo 2019. Thus the Ripazzo 2018 was born. Dry, fresh, a wine to drink with friends.
