Splendido Splendente is part of the LAB collection of Tenuta l'Armonia, a line of wines produced in very small quantities following the guidelines of a precise manifesto, often resulting from collaborations with other producers, as in this case, with the winery Raìna from Montefalco, Umbria. The intention of this collaboration was to experiment with the potentialities of the Umbrian wine variety, Grechetto, vinificated with skin maceration and proposed in a 50-50 blend with Garganega, in a sort of interregional enological-cultural exchange. Grechetto is left to macerate on the skins until March in Tuscan terracotta amphorae, while Garganega, after one day of skin contact, ferments in acacia barrels.
