Starting from vintage 2020, Weinbau Sackl decided to produce Gemischter Satz from single plots of land, called Ried in Austria, whose official classification at national level allowed to work on the territory in a meticulous way. The vineyards of Ried Gabrissen look south and southeast and lie at altitudes between about 190 and 230 meters. The vines here are largely rooted in calcareous and silty loess. The result is a great white wine showing a bouquet of flat peach, passion fruit, apple and lychee. In the mouth, it has a cripsy acidity, helped by spiciness and a fine, elegant structure that makes the wine also suitable for few years of aging.
