The Grüner Veltliner Patron is a classic variation on the theme. The soils are based on stratified Löss, the grapes come from old, low-yielding vines, and the vinification and long ageing take place in large acacia barrels. The result is a wine in which the extremes not only meet, but are also able to harmonise: body and elegance, vivacity and softness, persistence and drinkability. The aromas released by the Patron are intense and range from fresh and ripe fruit, to notes of caramel and spice. Grand finale of persistent minerality.
