With the end of the harvest approaching, it's time to celebrate them! On Friday 13th, we will be pouring some Markus Sonntag's Sturm at the Vinifero wine bar, directly from the Fass.
Now to our weekly wine tasting:
The first wine of this week is no less than the great sparkling La Planta from Mas Gomà. Situated one hour from Barcelona, this family owned winery works only with native varieties in biodynamic. La Planta is a traditional method of sparkling wine, made from Macabeo and Xarel-lo. The yeasts present in the bottle to add creamy notes and offset the acidity while avoiding the use of sugar. A very elegant and refreshing way of starting the tasting!
Annick 2020 from Cosimo Maria Masini; in the heart of Tuscany, one farmer from Naples and an oenologue from Switzerland decided to join the forces and produce biodynamic wine with passion. As they decided to focus mainly on native varieties from the terroir, they still produce international grapes. Annick is a 80% white pressed Sauvignon blanc, blended with Vermentino.Fresh, fruity and elegant, this wine has a lot of structure! With a view of the sea, Davide and Marco produce wines with witty names and their own character on the hills of Abruzzo. Lammidia already famous for their beautiful, fresh and funky wines, has proven that with old and classic grapes vinified with concrete and amphora, can do a lot. Rosh is a light red, refreshing and on the wild strawberry side. Perfect transition from summer rosé to light winter reds.
Almost 40 years ago, three friends, all passionate about their agricultural roots, founded the Valli Unite estate to keep traditional farming alive. Situated in the Piedmont region, the cultivation is organic and the grape varieties are natives. Marmote is a pure Croatina. Evocative red wine, its spiciness, crisp acidity and good alcohol balance will take you straight to the hills of Colli Tortonesi.
We look forward to see you at Karmeliterplatz!
