A very temperamental Zweigelt the one proposed by Meinklang with Graupert Rot. Classic in its unfolding between spicy textures and red and black berry fruit, the tannins are present but never excessive, the acidity is well balanced and there is a juicy background that makes it really easy to drink and softens its rough and slightly earthy traits. The aging in used casks, guarantees depth and longevity to this Zweigelt, elevating stylistically a grape variety that is too often relegated to the production of simple wines for immediate consumption.
