This wine is the result of research into ancient grape varieties in the volcanic territory of Pitigliano, which Antonio and I began in 2011.
Now, after 15 years, the first 900 bottles have arrived. The three grape varieties are vinified separately, all fermented on the skins for three weeks, then the Procanico was aged in cement, Nocchianello and Duropersico in glass demijohns.
This is the first juice of many years of work in this beautiful Etruscan territory.
