Gli Archi cultivate six hectares of vineyards and five hectares of olive groves, on the hills bordering Pisa and the Arno river. Two horses have recently been added to the family to help with the tilling of the land and creating general good cheer. The wines come from vines ranging from 15 to 50 years old. From the youngest vines comes the Chianti Poggio alla Farnia and all the red wines made from single grape that are aged in barriques. From a small stony vineyard planted with Viognier is produced, in ceramic amphorae, La Merla, and from 2020 the Spumante Metodo Classico Urganio, a true rarity. From the old vineyards come a few bottles of Otto Prode (Trebbiano) and Tredici Prode (Sangiovese and Canaiolo), produced each year exclusively for Vinifero.
