Gianmarco Orlando & Andrea Loffa SANG Vignaioli a Carife
Carife, Avellino
Gianmarco and Andrea are two fraternal friends sharing a great passion for wine. After several vintages in Italy and abroad, in 2021 they have rolled up their sleeves to bring their village, Carife, in the middle of the Campania Apennines, back to being a place where good wine is made.
So Sang, blood in dialect, was born as an agricultural/artistic/cultural project. At an altitude of 700 metres, they cultivate one hectare of vineyards on seven different plots. Some of the grapes are still bought from friends for a total of three wines and about 3000 bottles produced.
What are the plans for the future? The dream is to build a small winery to create a meeting place for the whole community of Carife. We stand by them.
