Enhancement of the different soils of volcanic nature of the territory, use of local grapes, choice of agronomic practices that are respectful of the life cycles and needs of the plant and soil: these are the three key points behind the production philosophy of Andrea Pendin and his Tenuta l'Armonia. The winery has only a little more than a decade behind it but its roots are very strong and deep in the territory of origin, we are in Veneto, in Montecchio Maggiore, a hilly area in the foothills of the Alps located east of Vicenza. The goal is to be able to tell all the nuances of the territory of Vicenza through wine. Organic and biodynamic farming principles are applied in the vineyards and it is right from the ground that the three lines of wines produced are born, one for each of the three volcanic terroirs, to which correspond three different production principles, chosen according to the needs of grapes and soils. Pop line, with its immediate, balanced and easy to drink wines, comes from volcanic soils with basalt inserts. A+ line, instead, has long macerations and aging in amphora which give life to juicy and full bodied wines, with grapes cultivated in volcanic soils with tracheitis and tuff. Vecchie Vigne line is composed by mono varietal wines obtained by the most "experienced" plants, cultivated on volcanic soils with the presence of limestone and tuff. Another highlight is the Lab Project, which includes collaborations with other Italian and European artisanal wineries, through exchanges of ideas and grape varieties, to promote a more personal concept of wine, away from the rigidity of designations, and interpretation of the territory.
