Dreia is a wonderful expression of one of the most typical and rare white grape varieties of the Thermenregion: Zierfandler. This variety is the result of a natural hybridization between Roter Veltliner and a still-to-be-discovered grape from the Traminer family. It tends to be pretty sensitive to mold and powdery mildew, and its yields are inconstant, therefore, its cultivation is not simple. Zierfandler tendentially give birth to wines with good longevity and alcoholic content, rich in extracts and with a round sip. Just like Dreia: vinified in wood with frequent batonnage, it exhales aromas of ripe exotic fruits and nuts, soft and exuberant in the mouth, with great aging potential.
