Ceci n´est pas un Carignan!
This wine is the result of Antonio's research into old vines and ancient grape varieties.
In Maremma, the old people call Carignano “Grané” and this wine, produced in only 600 bottles, comes from two different vineyards about 70 years old, in which a few rows of Grané are still preserved. The wine was aged for one year in tonneaux and three years in the bottle. Here is a way to taste a piece of history of this incredible territory.
