Swimmingpool is a very special wine, consisting of a mix of 9 different vintages from 2002 to 2010. The wine was aged in oak until 2016, then moved to a stainless-steel tank where it matured until bottling, in May 2024. At other latitudes it would be called ‘Cuvée perpétuelle’, we just named it Swimmingpool.
With a slight oxidative style typical of dry Sherrys (or Vin Jaune) and some influence from flor ageing, it is yet another marvel from Markus’cellar. Expect nutty aromas, dry herbs, yeasty notes and a long salty finish. Catch it till you find it!
