Alea Jacta Est is a famous phrase of Julius Caesar which means 'the decision is made'. It recalls the name of the main grape variety here, Alea ti co. Tasting a sip of this fantastic 2018, you can't help but make the decision to drink it all in one gulp. From their best alberello vines, there is also a rare Alea Jacta Est VV (Vecchie Vigne/old vines) version that is only rarely produced. If you come across it, don't waste your time, grab it.
