Gli Archi is a small winery in the province of Pisa with a stronger orientation toward the sea. Their Chianti is made from Sangiovese, complemented by small amounts of Merlot and Bonamico. The maceration lasts 15 days before the wine is pressed and aged in concrete tanks. The wine has mature notes of black fruits and violets, with soft tannins and good drinkability. It is best served slightly chilled, at about 18°C, and pairs well with dishes rich in umami, such as those with mushrooms or soy sauce.
