Foam Weiss is the petnat version of the Pinot Gris from the Graupert vineyard used to make the homonymous orange wine. After fermentation starts on the skins for approximately 10 days, the grapes are pressed. As the must ferments further, one part of this is bottled to obtain a wild, grippy orange petnat. The aromatics display ripe yellow fruit character, rustic tannins, a yeasty dimension and very nicely integrated bubbles. A real delight and a versatile companion at the table, thanks to its dryness and structure.
