Cascina Corte's challenge, to reinterpret the autochthonous grapes of its territory through an allochthonous component such as amphora, has been won. In the case of Langhe Barbera we are in front of a wine which not only keeps intact its primary characteristics, but it even manages to enhance them. In the glass it shows a dark and deep ruby red mantel. The nose expresses itself through a complex and intense bouquet of fruity aromas of blackberries and black cherries where the classic black peppery spiciness is the counterbalance. In the mouth the marked acidity is supported by a rich and thick structure, where the fruity component remains intact throughout the finish.
