In the Abruzzo region, high in the Apennines at about 600 meters above sea level, Lammidia crafts a wine style that stands apart from others in the area. Rosh, which means "Rosso" in the local dialect, is a fresh reinterpretation of Montepulciano, enhanced with a touch of white grapes. The grapes undergo semi-carbonic maceration in concrete tanks, followed by aging in both concrete and stainless steel. The wine captivates with herbal notes, black olives, and the tart aroma of sour cherries, complemented by vibrant acidity and a moderate alcohol content of 11.5%. Best served at 15°C, it pairs perfectly with a classic Marinara pizza or a Puttanesca dish – a match made in heaven!
