Grape varieties: Grüner Veltliner
Alcohol: 11,5%
Region: Gols, Burgenland
Winemaker: Mike Muff
Whole bunches begin fermentation on the skins for a week, before being pressed into used barrels. Alcohol is quite light at 11,5% with a very defined structure coming both from acidity and tannins through the skin contact. On the palate it presents lime, apple skin and a hint of walnut. A very unique style, one that challenges any preconception on Veltliner.
