Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Blauburger
Alcohol: 12%
Region: Kamptal
Winemaker: Christoph and Matilde Daignère-Koller
Mathilde and Christoph craft wine in Schönberg am Kamp, in one of Austria's finest terroirs for white varieties. Mon General, on the other hand, is a serious red made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, primarily grown on loess soils. The wine is aged for over 20 months in used barrels, developing deep aromas while maintaining freshness and moderate alcohol. If possible, decant the wine and enjoy it at around 18°C, paired with earthy flavors like mushrooms and beets.
