With Ploder-Rosenberg's Blanca we are in front of a wine with seductive traits and a character which can easily compete with the most traditional expressions of south-eastern Styria. It is in fact a late release, fruit of a selected cuvee of grapes resistant to humidity and fungal diseases, called PIWI, such as Souvignier gris and Muscaris, blended with a small quantity of the traditional Gelber Muskateller and Grünen Veltiner. The result is a white wine with amber tones, with aromas of ripe exotic fruit, hints of dried fruit and balsamic spices. A nectar as luscious and addictive as the sirens' song.
