Grape variety: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and other native grapes
Alcohol: 14%
Region: Maremma, Toscana
Winemaker: Famiglia Mazzanti
A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet, and several indigenous Tuscan grape varieties, fermented with a small percentage of whole bunches in wood. The wine matures in large, used oak barrels and is bottled after one year without the addition of sulfur. The result is a rustic, dark-fruit-driven red with a leafy character from the upper Maremma, offering herbal freshness and powdery tannins. Best served lightly chilled, it is a fantastic companion to grilled dishes and smoky, charred flavors, enhancing the essence of bold, outdoor cooking.
