From a blend of Barbera and Dolcetto, two peasant grapes par excellence of Piedmont, the Red and the Beast represents the most juicy and fruity soul of local red wines. Barbera gives acidity and a fruitiness that turns to cherry and spices, while Dolcetto gives rusticity, tannins and darker aromas. In the mouth, the two grapes dance between freshness, palatability, fruity juiciness, together with a light but perceptible tannic texture.
