Toranja is made exclusively from Grenache Gris grapes sourced from various vineyards in the Banyuls region. The grapes are pressed immediately to avoid extracting color from the grayish-pink skins. Fermentation takes place in concrete vats, and the wine then rests on its fine lees until early summer, when it is bottled. It is a wine with fresh, tropical aromatic notes and a pleasant minerality, typical characteristics of this grape variety.
