Funky Punky labels are the rosés that Gottfried Lamprecht produces from his red varieties. In this case a rosé of Blaufränkisch that, after a short skin-contact, it's pressed and continues fermentation in 600L cask. Bottled after a year in oak, the wine doesn't have any added sulfur, for a wilder style, yet remaining precise and clean. Delicately spiced with a crunchy red fruit core, this rosé combines great drinkability with the excitment and liveliness of a sulfur-free wine. As always, better serve it chilled, but not too cold.
