Rotburger is the local name to indicate the variety Zweigelt, while Kreuzegg is the vineyard where the grapes are born and grew. Weingut Schnabel delivers a very animating red wine with an intense bouquet dominated by lovely cherry aromas and dark spices. The sip displays touches of black currant, sage, white pepper, and a little smoky, whiskey-reminiscent aftertaste, great minerality and silky tannins. A Zweigelt with a French touch, one of the best you can find!
