All the character of Morillon, the styrian name of Chardonnay, is concentrated in this bottle. The soil of Hochegg, a well-known plot of the Sausal growing area, is characterized by rough siliceous primary rock, with slate and iron deposits, while the open, high and steep hillside, facing south to south-south-east, leads to a very windy microclimate. Fresh, floral, with an intense color, due to its expressive beauty, Morillon Hochegg 2021 reminds of a snapshot of a spring meadow, or if we want, an impressionist painting. More than complexity, its primary qualities are immediacy, pleasantness and agility. The skin maceration and the subsequent aging in barrels, contribute to the structure and depth of the juice.
