With the 2022 Legionärin, the Schnabel winery decides to stick to its knitting by dealing with the variety that reigns supreme in the Sausal-Kitzegg area, and in general in the entire Südsteiermark, namely Sauvignon Blanc. The match is in style: the glass exudes typical and elegantly-shaped notes of grapefruit, orange peel, gooseberries, a flowery touch and delicate hints of herbal spices. The acidity is vibrant, lively and makes the sip inviting, while the general texture is creamy with a salty finish. Legionärin is a wine whose sensory qualities can take you by the hand and lead you, in one sip, to the fairytale landscapes shaped by the rounded hills of Southern Styria.
