Il Farneto is a biodynamic winery in the heart of Emilia Romagna, in the hills south of Reggio Emilia. In perfect harmony with the region's tradition, the winery specializes in sparkling wines that are mainly produced through refermentation with must. The Frisant Bianco 2023 is a blend of Spergola, an indigenous grape variety, and Sauvignon Blanc. Col fondo (bottled unfermented) the wine showcases vibrant citrus aromas, grassy notes, and a delicate yeasty scent. The fine bubbles extend the finish and enhance the aromatic complexity of both grape varieties. With its fine structure and playful character, it is best served chilled at 8°C – the perfect aperitif, especially with crispy vegetables and dips.
