Grape varieties: Lambrusco Salamino di Croce
Alcohol: 11,5%
Region: Modena, Emilia-Romagna
Winemaker: Luciano Saetti
From the plains around Soliera, Modena, Luciano Saetti crafts an incredibly artisanal and exceptional Lambrusco. Made from the Salamino grape, it undergoes primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by bottle fermentation in the spring, and disgorging after 14 months. The aromas are complex, featuring blackberries, tamarind, violets, and wild herbs. On the palate, it is structured with beautiful acidity and delicate perlage. With no added sulfur, it boasts fantastic definition and precision. A truly wine-like Lambrusco, perfect as a table companion, best enjoyed chilled at 12°C. Try it with a radicchio and Taleggio risotto, or with just about anything else!"
